Confusion over crypto currency!

Clients are now demanding access to their digital assets but are unsure of how to get them, when they will be able to and will brokers be able to sell them. Brokers are aiming to avoid trading straight assets directly, leaving that to specialty shops but instead give advisers access to a selected number of digital and crypto linked funds while waiting for SEC and give the all clear on exchange traded funds that invest into Bitcoin like currencies. However, due to the increase in demand the all clear is taking longer so access to the currency is taking longer. ____________

Investment industry: SEC efforts to reform private equity fees

The Security and Exchange Commission last week proposed that private equity fund are recommended to provide data, every 3 months which would be a big shift in disclosure standards and reduce the ability for data sets to be manipulated and represented incorrectly. This shift would bring the private equity to parallel with public markets as the public funds will be used to even the spread of returns when the market is volatile, keeping bond yields low. While checking-out of a DIY store over the weekend I overheard two young cashiers talking about investing all their savings in Bitcoins. I was concerned. Why? Why did Tesla buy Bitcoin?

Tesla has put almost 8% of its reserves into the cryptocurrency.As per Form 10-K, on page 23, TESLA states, “In January 2021, we updated our investment policy to provide us with more flexibility to further diversify and maximize returns on our cash that is not required to maintain adequate operating liquidity.
