Virgin Media O2: £10 bn investment in UK
This crossover of Virgin Media and O2, is one of the biggest UK telecom deal known, it has revealed that the 5G network now covers 2/3 of London. This now classes it as having the largest 5G footprint. The push for investment in improved connectivity is because if investment in full fibre and mobile connectivity is done, then it could unlock 68,384 jobs in the capital and boost London’s economy by more than £16bn by 2026.
