Real estate is one of the oldest ways to invest and generate income. However, the real estate market has been a bit chaotic in the U.S. since the start of the pandemic, and it has Americans searching far and wide to find the best properties, to the extent that investors are looking in second and third tier markets. With the worst rental yield of 1.93% in Turkey and the best of 10% in Moldova there is a great variety. However, the average rental yield in the U.S. is just under 3 % so many countries are in fact excelling as compared to the USA. The key message being- do your research!
